AIRCRAFT MUSEUM
Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome is home to the Cold War jet collection including a Victor, Hunter, Canberra, Comet, Lightning, Starfighter, Mystere, Sea Vixen, Buccaneer, Jet Provost, Super Guppy, Iskra and Jaguar. The latest aircraft to join the museum fleet is a Nimrod MR2 which joined us in April 2010 straight from the RAF.
Whilst these beautiful aircraft spark much interest and nostalgia, they rarely fly anywhere in the world nowadays. However, the Cold War Jets Collection at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome maintains several of them, in fully serviceable order.
The aircraft fleet is maintained with the support of experienced volunteers. Due to the continual updating of the fleet, we are always in need of new, locally based, volunteers to work on or around the aircraft or ground support equipment. If interested, then please call Dave Walton on 0116 279 9300

Please note that the Vulcan is currently based out of RAF Lyneham
The Aircraft Museum is open to the public every Sunday between 10am and 4pm. The entry fee is £5.00 per adult. (accompanied children free of charge)
