Bruntingthorpe Events announced as ‘Most Innovative Business Tourism Partner’

Bruntingthorpe Events were announced as the ‘Most Innovative Business Tourism Partner’ at the Leicestershire Promotions 2018 Tourism & Hospitality Awards. The awards, held on the 29th November 2018 at Athena Leicester, saw steep competition, with 153 finalists across 22 categories representing hospitality and tourism businesses across Leicestershire.

Bruntingthorpe Events beat off competition from a fantastic range of local businesses to take the top spot. The judges listed Bruntingthorpe’s unique approach and flexibility amongst the reasons for the title. Flexibility is a core philosophy of the Bruntingthorpe Events offering, whether it’s a full events solution or just a blank canvas venue, a conference for 1,500 people or team building for a team of 20, the team work tirelessly to create the perfect solution. But the innovation doesn’t stop there, the very buildings that Bruntingthorpe Events centre on all have a previous life to speak of. The latest venue, The Whittle Building, is entirely recycled, operating as a car dealership in a nearby town before being entirely dismantled and reconstructed on site.

Paul Atkin, General Manager Business Development at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground and Events said “Winning the Business Tourism award is a testament to the hard work of the entire team. Awards such as this highlight the strength of Bruntingthorpe Events in the diverse venues and services we can offer to the meetings and events industry. This is a fantastic accolade recognising our innovation within the industry, which is at the core of everything we do”.

The awards, created by Leicestershire Promotions and now in their eighth year, celebrate the excellent work that a wide range of attractions, accommodation providers, restaurants and event organisers undertake to ensure their customers have the best possible experience.
