Filming Studio

A unique filming location in the heart of the UK.

Bruntingthorpe is proud to offer a spectacular filming location for TV shows, advertisements and blockbuster movies. Set in the heart of the Midlands, this rural location can provide the ultimate scenery package in comparison to city centre filming studios.

Our newly refurbished Hangar ‘42 Events Centre is a 35,000 sq. ft. aircraft hangar featuring all the facilities you would need for shooting, including a fully functional kitchen and reception area. Available to hire by the half day, full day or week, we can cater for small independent filmmakers as well as established crews.

The vast open space, 35,000 sq. ft. in total, can easily accommodate a full film set or TV studio including green screens, camera crew and lighting. With a high ceiling, neutral colours and ample parking for the cast and crew, Hangar ‘42 is the perfect, flexible option for your next production.

As well as filming, we also welcome photoshoots at Bruntingthorpe, with our abundance of space making indoor vehicle shoots a walk in the park. We are able to provide onsite catering or if you prefer, you can have full use of the Hangar’42 kitchen to cater for your team.

Alongside the use of our indoor filming studio, Bruntingthorpe offers the advantage of an exclusive 670-acre airfield and test track. Productions including Top Gear, Fifth Gear and Mission Impossible have all made spectacular use of our outdoor facilities, proving that Bruntingthorpe truly is an incredible all-around location. There is an array of interesting buildings against a backdrop of a variety of aircraft that can be used for shoots. There’s even access to farmland if this is what you require for your filming.
