Driver Training

We provide the ability to undertake professional driver training onsite.

Thanks to our comprehensive suite of track and off-road facilities alongside access to a large fleet of specialist vehicles, Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground lends itself as one of the best locations for driver training courses across Leicestershire and the UK. We have access to an array of 4x4s, supercars and specialist vehicles such as HGV’s available on site, all available to use as part of our driver training courses.

Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground can easily organise the training courses and will tailor each one to suit the needs of our individual customers. Taking advantage of our extensive database of external instructors, we can manage all services in-house. Each driver on our database is a professional instructor, many of whom are Advanced Driving Instructors, ex-police officers, or ex-race and rally drivers. Their wide range of expertise ensures we can provide our customers with the correct instructor for their needs. Alternatively, the ground is available to hire by third-party companies and is often used for young driver training alongside advanced instructor training.

We offer a range of courses, either off-the-shelf or tailored to suit unique requirements. Our programmes are typically a half-day, full-day, or 2-days in length and consist of a mixture of classroom, road, and track learning.

Available training courses may cover the following vehicles and applications; advanced driving techniques, road and track craft, LCV and HGV, emergency response, tanker drivers, motorcycles, race car instruction, 4x4 track driving, young drivers, defensive techniques and staff driver skill evaluation.
